Introducing C&C's Next Middle and Upper School Director: Jennine Rodriguez
In a letter to the community earlier today, Dr. Patti announced: Dear City and Country Families and Colleagues,
Jennine’s journey as an educator is rooted in a commitment to experiential, student-centered learning. She holds a Master of Science in Education from Bank Street College of Education and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and Sociology from Wesleyan University. Her extensive leadership experience includes roles as Assistant Head of School for Teaching, Learning, and Development at Westland School in Los Angeles, Head of Early Childhood and Elementary at Almaden Country Day School in San Jose, and co-founder of Leonardo School in LA. In addition, Jennine has consulted internationally, contributing to educational initiatives in Dubai and Jordan. At the core of Jennine’s philosophy is the belief that learning should be active, reflective, purposeful, and connected to the world around us. Her collaborative, thoughtful leadership style ensures that educators and students alike feel valued and inspired to thrive within progressive learning environments. Her proven success as both a division director and an academic leader will be invaluable as we move forward into a new chapter for our middle and upper schools. A native New Yorker, Jennine is excited to return home and continue her leadership journey at City and Country. Relocating with her is her husband, Scott Hevesy; her two college-aged children will remain in California to complete their studies. Many thanks to everyone involved in the hiring process, including the dedicated hiring team, whose thoughtful work and commitment ensured that we found the right leader for this vital role. Please join me in welcoming Jennine to City and Country School! Sincerely yours, Dr. Frank Patti
